Location is good for walking to most things. Train station is close too. Restaurant food is good, service is slow. Offer more happy hour stuff may bring in more bar people. Bree was the best bartender. Keep the news and cartoons off the TVs, sports or weather only. Room is adequate. Bed is good. Pillows are way too soft. Offer a firmer style pillow. Current "firm" pillow is inadequate. Laundry and dry cleaning are good. Pool is small. Weight room is good. Keep maintaining the cardio equipment. Parking is free. Staff is friendly and helpful. Have maintenance check elevators brakes and make sure every door locks properly.
Hotel was nice, standard mid-hotel. Pool is small but clean (hot tub jets were not working but still clean and usable). Biggest issue was the restaurant service - dinner was decent but only one poor person working! Breakfast buffet (for a cost!) was barely anything, they were out of eggs, pancakes, cups, juice...and just didn't have a big selection. There was only one cook and one waiter so service was terrible as well.
They have Crabtree and Evelyn soaps, shampoos and lotions! I was so surprised and pleased. The rooms were very clean. Their cleaning crew did an awesome job. Parking is not free. You pay 18 bucks at the garage or 24 at the front desk. Its pretty much in the middle of everything in Downtown Evanston, so its a great location. We came in the dead of winter and still were able to walk around to where we needed to go.
Good place to stay Clean and comfortable rooms, nice overall experience. Very convenient location near the Metro and bus stand, making travel easy. Recommended for both business and family stays.
Stayed here several times and have found the accommodations to be very good. Staff have been very courteous and helpful, especially for special requests during this most recent stay. Our king corner room was sufficiently roomy with comfortable mattress. Room was cleaned well. Complementary morning coffee was very good. The conference wing lobby is comfortable for spreading out and reading Location is excellent and public garage next door is great for parking at a reasonable price. Except for when there’s a Northwestern event, prices are competitive. Aneesah was very helpful with working out a reservation change. We plan to stay again.
We had an excellent time. The rooms were clean and ample size. Nora and Mariah made our anniversary night very special.
A wonderful experience from the moment I arrived. The check-in process was quick, and the reception team was very welcoming. The hotel’s design is modern and elegant, making the whole place feel luxurious. I enjoyed every minute of my stay
